Java Macaque

Postby macaquelover » Fri Jul 11, 2008 4:51 pm

I was wondering if there was any breeders out there with java macaques right now besides wild animal world or strange and unusual.

I have prior training

I know all about there diets

I know about there behavior

and I also know about dominating between them

I dont have kids actually I cant have them, but no that's not why I want a monkey I could adopt if I wanted kids.

I want a baby Java

and in the future hope to breed myself but right now I just want to know the joy of owning and raising a little baby. :monkey

go to www.mthopeohio.com

I have no idea who it is or any contact info. Its an auction so you just see people there by the animals sometimes, and they seem to have been there before, but not everytime. There I think was a male infant at the spring sale, but its different every time. Monkeys dont interest me as I dont have the time for them, so its not something I paid full attention to unfortunately.

macaquelover
welcome to sybils message board.

as lasergrl said, mt hope would have them.

you can also subscribe to animal finders guide.
it comes out every month or every other month.
there is mostly exotics in this magazine.

I doubt they are cheap. plan on spending in the thousands.
also, check with your state for the legality of these monkeys. also, do as much reasearch on them as possible..

sorry I couldn't be of more help, I don't really know much about monkeys.

really glad to hear you have done lots of research.
wish everyone that is considering an exotic would do the same..

apparently, you have not found anything in afg yet

if I hear of any, I will let you know.

how is your state with monkeys? did you check to see what you need for a permit? I would really hate to see you spend that much money, then have your dnr/game comm take it from you.. that has happened so many times in my state. the outcome for the animal is usually grim
