I've tried bread, carrots, and apples, and they weren't interested in any of it. All my show calves are interested in is cow cake.

what is "cow cake"?

my steer will eat almost anything I give him. he loves hay, as do many cattle.
I got a bag of some type of apple treats. he loves them.

I'll have to try apple treats. Cow cake is pretty much just a pelleted type of cattle feed. They want it if they're hungry, but it's not enticing enough to convince them to do anything.

I assume they graze alot? actually, many people let cattle feed just on grazing.
could they just be full from grazing? or just spoiled

I personally give mine a little bit of pellets or dog food. in the winter, oscar and the donkeys alway has hay.
