Miniature Longhorns

Postby Farmboy » Sun Nov 23, 2008 2:07 am

I have been debating on rather or not to purchase a pair of miniature longhorns. Since i got the mini zebus, I have had a great deal of fun, and learned a lot along the way. I contacted Bogle Farms which has a young bull calf for sale. He is expected to mature around 44 inches. I am going to head down there in December to get him, and if all goes well I will have a nice little longhorn running around the place. Does anyone know where I can get a mini longhorn heifer in the southeast?

Thanks,

farmboy,

those mini longhorns are so cute. I really want one too.
I see them at the auction in ohio. the last time I was there, I was going to bid it, but, I missed it

not to be nosey, but, how much does the one you are getting cost?

heck yes. go for it.
If you don't, then you would have wished you would have got two of them.

yike, maybe I don't want one right now

I could be wrong or got mixed up, but, I thought one of them went for about 300.00 at the auction a few years ago.

like I said, I could have got that mixed up with another type of mini cattle

They may have. Around here we do not have many things like this so you can sale them for a lot more. I am planning on selling my double registered mini zebu for $1200, but thats cheap around here.
