could anyone post this on their Facebook, or whatever they have for media. It is for Lucy (my beagle) She is totally blind from cataracts in both eyes. She can get surgery, but, it cost $1000.00 per eye. Even if I got one eye done, it is better than nothing at all.

Scam????

Postby illida » Tue Nov 08, 2011 6:44 pm

I've been thinking of asking my mothers for a pygmy goat relatively soon and I was wondering since I am completely unaware of how much they cost should I be concerned that this person http://www.petclassifieds.us/239522/Nig ... dults.html is a scam?? On another note, there are not that many goat owners here are there
I currently own three kitties Corwin(8 months), Brophy(8 months), and Talouse (10 years) :)

I'm not sure in what sense it would be a scam. You might want to try http://www.bestfarmbuys.com/
and look for goats there as well. If nothing else it will give you an idea of their going price. If you have a livestock auction in your area you might try there as well, Around here people sometime take them & sell outside the auction. Good luck.

Well those are Nigerians not pygmies. Totally different. Also can't have just one goat. You have to have at least two. They are herd animals and don't do well alone. I breed Nigerians and nothing in that ad says scam.
There is alot to learn about goats. They are suseptable to many diseases and nutritional problems. Make sure you find a breeder with Cl and cae negative stock.
