feeding pigletts??

Postby pat » Thu May 13, 2010 9:16 am

someone emailed that they have 11 orphaned pigletts.
the momma colapsed, and now this person is bottle feeding the piglets.

I believe it has been a few weeks since bottle feeding.
now, the pigletts don't seem to be doing good.

anyway have ideas as to how much milk and what type of milk they should have?

also, if there is any type of additive to add to the bottle?

not sure if the pigletts got their colustrum.

Not doin well how? Scours? If scours they will need some meds from the feed store.
Use the unimilk that you used for your bears. Once they are a week old they should be eating out of a bowl, piglet food soaked in milk.
