hey guys i have a question, i have a gourami and a plocautomis ( srry hard word to spell) ans they live in the same tank is it ok if i leave them togeather or will one or the other become agressive?

The gourami is aggressive and could kill the pleco someday as the pleco tends to be an easy target since they are not constant swimmers. Someone had theirs together for a long time then one day found the gourami had disemboweled the pleco.

Again, tank size matters and the pleco needs A LOT of hiding spaces if you are going to put those two together...

i have a 12 gallon tank and those are the only two fish i have but the gourmi hasent bother the plecostomus so far at least not that i have noticed

12 gallon is not enough for the pleco even on his own. Mine is well over a foot long. She's in a 30 gallon and that's a bit small but it's long so she can swim around.
