pict of my donkeys

Postby pat » Tue Feb 24, 2009 11:34 pm

I got a couple cute pictures of my donkeys, thought I would share them with everyone here..

it is almost as though they are posing

the grey one is Hazel, the brown one is Joey (Haze's baby)
the white one is "steven" Joey's daddy.

all three are very friendly..

thanks,

nope, he is not. I want to get him fixed, but, was having a hard time finding a vet. now my original vet said he will make house calls.
now i need to get the money to have this done.

I need to get joey and steven fixed.
most likely, I will probably see another baby this year.

Aww you know you want another one ;) Do you normally have a hard time finding a vet that does house calls? All of the large animal vets around her will only come to your house.

actually, hubby said, when the first one is born, we will sell him, to help toward toward the care and feed of the other two.
but, once he seen Joey and his personalilty, he don't want to part with him

Joey is a cutie pie though.

my normal vet I go to use to make house calls. then he decided he wasn't going to make anymore house calls for my farm animals.
then just a few weeks ago, when I complained about the lack of care and expense to about the other vets, he told me he would make house calls for my farm animals.

I also found another vet, that said he would make house calls also.
he will even come to the house for my foxes.
he is an egyption guy and has dealt with many different type exotics.
so now, I have two vets that will treat my little darlings..

all I need now, is the money to pay them

So cute! Out here you can adopt wild burros through the BLM. They sure wouldn't be as sweet as your group! (At least not without a lot of work!!)

thanks everyone.

when joey was born, he was about half the size of his momma.
I thought a donkey just born would be alot smaller.
I was amazed at how big he was..
