Finding info?

Postby Whisper » Sat Dec 12, 2015 12:14 am

So I everyone says gizmos owner did lots of research on fox dietary needs, but i can't find any.... Are there any books or websites you guys know of? Same thing with genetics. I don't plan to breed for a long time, but I would love to learn it icon-smile.

Thanks!

This is the book for diets for foxes. The 1982 version is available for free here:

Beautiful fur animals and their coat color genetics is the pinnacle of fox coloration genetics. But it is very hard to find.
You can try and get it through inter-library loans. especially if you're a university student.

US Fox Shippers Council has a great page on the coloration with a lot of research from the Beautiful fur animals book:

I also created my own illustrated guide based on my understanding of genetics.

I illustrated every color, and found a link to a live photo in the description of the color, if possible.
