Got another one to add to my list. A Blue Butterfly Halfmoon Betta from a real breeder:
Image

My little buddy Simo used to look like that, but he darkened as he got older and after his bout of fin rot when I moved last year his fins are shorter. I got him from a Petco store, on a whim, because I had never seen that color pattern before.

This is what Simo looked like the day I got him:

And now:

Wow, that's a huge difference.

I don't know if I've posted on this list or not.
Here's mine.

Arctic wolf or high content arctic wolfdog

Coyote

Swift Fox

There are others, but I don't have time to look for the pictures. I'll find them later and post them when I have a chance. icon-smile

Pipefish are neat. They look like stretched out seahorses

I've been dying to set up a vivarium and get dart frogs! I used to have african dwarf frogs- they lived about 5 years. Now I miss having frogs and I REALLY like dart frogs. As soon as I can afford it, I'm gonna do it! I just need to pick a species and settle on it, because I've read that it's not good to mix species.

I think once my room is finished being redone and my work hours pick back up, I'm going to get some Dendrobates auratus. A good beginner frog, and my favorites, so win-win! Maybe we'll be getting frogs around the same time!

I agree, I really like the turquoise and bronze Dendrobates auratus like you posted. I don't really like the more green ones though. It's really only the bronze and turquoise ones I like.

I also like this:

I can't find the name of the species, other than it's a type of toad rather than a dart frog?

And these are unique too:

That purple/black one is awesome! :o It's Atelopus varius, the Costa Rican Variable Harlequin Toad(aka, the clown frog).

I didn't know strawberry darts could be that color!

Yeah, I really like the strawberry darts. Especially the spotted ones. Bright red or orange.. doesn't matter to me! Maybe I'll get two vivariums and have both strawberry darts and turquoise & bronze darts. hehe

I just have to hope once i get my set up that Tribble doesn't get into it. I wish darts did well in A set up with fish as well, but the little silly heads would drown.

Maybe you could do a custom vivarium and section it off for fish? That way they wouldn't drown and it could look like one big vivarium. I'm not sure how you'd make it look "seamless" but it could be pretty, nonetheless. Especially with tropical fish. I've always like tropical and saltwater fish, but they're just sooooo much work.

OMG I just found THE frog for my wishlist!

Image
Image
The Ranitomeya benedicta!
They were discovered in 2005, described in 2008 and were bred by Understory Enterprises by 2009. Now you can find them for about $150. A bit expensive for a dart frog, but wow! The contrast!
And they can live up to 20-25 years?!

Wolfdog (at least, I think it's a hybrid, it sure as heck looks like one, probably wrong though lol) either low or high content would be fine icon-smile

Gotta chime in and say that's a low content (at best). It looks a lot like one of Echo's brothers. picture here

Adorable foxes and coyote pictures, especially that red fox!
