I have tons.... A lot of them are "cage animals". I've decided that much as I really like a lot of the smaller animals like rats etc, I really prefer animals that don't have to be put away when you can't be paying full attention to them.

Another is the raccoon family, minus ringtails (which I actually want). Coatis and coons are awesome and adorable, but probably just not my thing. I wonder about the mustelids.... I'd like experience with them before making up my mind. And lastly, a lot of large carnivores. I can't handle a tiger or african wild dog!

Edit: wait a second... am I missing something here? :egeek:

The first is actually Bettong.

I'm interested in most everything. Might be easier to list what I'm not interested in, most any large herbivores like deer though I am fond of elk and I liked the fallow deer I worked with. I'm not really keen on ever owning exotic felines and not to into birds or herps or anything nonmammal or marsupial all that much.

Some of these I would someday like to own, but-

Ferrets, coons, skunks, cougar, coyote, fox, sugar gliders, and a number of large or venemous herps and birds, among other things.

Out of those, I am inclined to own foxes, maybe ferrets, maybe coons, and probably a large snake at some point.

The dormouse you posted is not just any dormouse, it's an African pygmy dormouse :icon-wink: .

I am really interested in most, if not all species of fox which I am sure is a huge shock to you all  .
I am also really interested in Giant red and white flying squirrels as of yesterday. My Dad has been interested in them for a while but then a guy I know got a pair and posted photos and my Dad asked to go on his waiting list and I really hope he gets one!

Apparently they are the size of a red panda just slimmer so that's one hell of a squirrel!

I am also interested in many species of dormice. I currently only have Asian garden dormice which I can NEVER get a good photo of:

and African pygmy dormice:

I hope to get some edible dormice and European garden dormice.

I adore most animals to be honest so long as they are furry or a Pangolin icon_biggin.gif .

I knew of them but I didn't know it was possible to get the giant flying squirrels, Cool. The first photo looks a bit like he's a ninja squirrel.

I love squirrel ninja hehe.
My Southern flying squirrels go into a crazy ninja pose with one leg up and their arms in the air if they feel threatened. . . they also bite REALLY freaking hard so I hope if my Dad does get one that they don't bite, one could have my arm off haha.

We did not know you could have them as pets until Dave posted that he has two so now I am super excited and really hope his have little ones.
