could anyone post this on their Facebook, or whatever they have for media. It is for Lucy (my beagle) She is totally blind from cataracts in both eyes. She can get surgery, but, it cost $1000.00 per eye. Even if I got one eye done, it is better than nothing at all.

Joe Exotic in Ohio

Postby amyers » Mon Apr 16, 2012 7:17 pm

Joe is asking that everyone that can make it to show up. He's testifying before the Senate committee on behalf of Ohio's exotic animal owners. He wants a good showing. If anybody wants to go, here's the info.

Date: April 17, 2012

Time: 8:30 am

Location: The Ohio Statehouse
Ladies Gallery Room
1 Capitol Square
Columbus, Ohio 43215

The President of the United States Zoological Association (USZA), and director of the largest accredited facility's in the world for large cats (housing over 170 tigers and lions), is scheduled to testify before the Senate Committee on April 17, 2012 regarding SB 310, a bill that would ban many exotic pets.

Prior to his testimony, the USZA President will hold a press conference at the State Capitol located at 1 Capitol Square in the Ladies Gallery Room at 8:30 a.m on Tuesday, April 17, 2012.

The USZA hopes to educate the public and Ohio lawmakers and show that SB310 as it is written will likely result in more human deaths by putting dangerous animals in the hands of unqualified people, thus creating a much larger disaster than the one in Zanesville, Ohio.

Ohio lawmakers must also be aware that SB310, as it is currently written, is illegal and creates an illegal monopoly as the State Government CANNOT force anyone to join a private non-profit organization in order to be exempt from a criminal law.

The multi-million dollar fraud pushing this bill will be exposed with written proof to show that this is all a moneymaking scheme to control the animal industry.

The testimony will include evidence of the agenda by major animal rights' organization to illegal monopolize the industry in order to gain control of it.

The name of the USZA President is being withheld from the release due to the current death threats by unknown parties regarding his testimony on Tuesday.
