Interesting article on gut bacteria across all ant and termite eating species. The implications being that the same probiotics for us may not be probiotics for them. I've maintained this before by saying ant poop is probiotics for anteaters. They kinda say the same by saying the bacteria from the ants and termites may help the ant and termite eaters digest them. When Pua was ill she seemed to go or the "dust"(poop) from the ant and termite logs first. They get buggy logs regularly and worm poop(castings) in the food.
