They do not. An aardvark looks like a pig.

Aardvarks and Anteaters are each in their own order like Carnivore's have their own order.

Aardvarks have teeth and anteaters don't. Aardvarks teeth keep growing like a rodents do. Aardvarks have flat noses they dig with like pigs and can close off their nostrils and have weird fleshy hairs inside. They are thought to be related to elephants.

Xenarthra(anteaters and relations) have been around since dinosaurs and before primates first evolved and mostly unchanged. So they are perfect and so related just to themselves, cuz they're just that cool. Anteater's walk on the sides of their hands or their knuckles depending on species. All can climb but only the tamandua and the pygmy climb regularly. The giant anteater has a big fluffy tail they use as a blanket when they sleep. Anteaters have cute ears and pretty fur and a small delicate nose. Smaller anteaters have a prehensile tail.

Did you notice the Aardvarks claws are kind of hoof like?

They are kind of similar but like tigers and lions are similar and yeah some people get tigers and lions confused too so don't feel to bad.
