ok so PLEASE do not take this the wrong way, i mean NO disrespect but to be honest the anteaters kinda creep me out. i think its because i am not familar with them. they look super shiny and soft are they? and is the claws as long as they look? she is a very pretty animal but something just weirds me out about them. i would really like to see one in real life and gain some knowledge of them.

Well these aren't the best photos of her.

Or maybe try watching her be snuggly

It's okay though I find the silky anteater kinda freaky looking and was never fond of Kinkajous looks but they've grown on me a tinny bit.

To be honest her claws are to long but I've been working on filing them back again. She just doesn't use them enough. Here's when her claws were in top form.

To see closer, the stuff on them is avocado

They are strictly self defense. Then they don't lash. When Pua first met the cat she got scared and stood up hissing. Kat just sat there. I just got one hole poked in each arm because I didn't let her know it was me first. I let her sniff me first if she gets scared since then and no problems. No scars or anything.

They aren't as soft as they look though she feels soft to me, petting with the fur. I compare her to a well washed goats. No grease, very clean but similar texture.
