could anyone post this on their Facebook, or whatever they have for media. It is for Lucy (my beagle) She is totally blind from cataracts in both eyes. She can get surgery, but, it cost $1000.00 per eye. Even if I got one eye done, it is better than nothing at all.

Patagonian Cavies in Oregon?

Postby Durkriswen » Sat Feb 09, 2019 4:57 am

I have recently become interested in Patagonian Cavies. My human partner keeps indoor rabbits. They have a room all to themselves and are free-range indoors most of the day. Cavies seem like they are very similar to rabbits. I have been trying to research cavies (as best I can) to see if they would be a good fit for our family. Information online is sparse and often conflicting. I would love to find a nearby breeder or owner whom I could visit to get a better idea of what these creatures are like. I live in Portland, OR.

Also, thank you so much for this forum. I have visited on and off for years, but this is my first time registering and posting.

I use to see them at an auction in Ohio. I thought about getting one. but, I wanted to do more research before I got one.
I think they are more of outdoor animals. I really don't know a lot about them. only seen them at an auction. ... r-sale.asp
