How absurd, and then showing up over it!! They must be very, very bored down there.
And they did misinform you, I've been on the phone with them repeatedly during the
last few months about raccoons, and a bill of sale is all you need here in PA, the end.

I'm so sorry they trashed your plans. Wish there was someone I could call about
the damned kids with their loud music speeding down the street at night, they're
so concerned about people being bothered, but apparently they feel like our
species just isn't invasive enough.

Aaaw. So cute! Is he friendly or more of a hands-off pet? Does he have a name?

I'm glad you were able to get one. He is just too adorable. I don't know too much about chipmunks, so I'd love to learn more about them and hear your experiences. How old is he?

he's friendly for treats, hands-off is debatable.. he's too small to pet and he doesn't like to be picked up.. his name is sora

southern flying squirrel, it seems very much like a chipmunk though.. i've had him about a month, so roughly 3 months old?

i bought him a few pounds of nuts from nuts . com
they have a pretty good selection of loose leaf tea, so it was a plus
he doesn't care much for sesame seeds, which is his calcium supplement.. fortunately, i can sneak some into his oatmeal
