Been a while but hello everyone :)
I am in a bit of a predicament. We have some feral cats and my grandmother heard the most awful noise and when she went outside? One of the cats had a baby chipmunk. So we chased the cat away and looked over it and the cats had pulled the skin/fur off its tail.
Now it's been about a month and the little thing is SO hyper!
But it's also very social and I was curious if chipmunks needed buddies? I didn't know anything about them until I got this little dude so I was a little bit worried about him/her getting lonely :/ Anyhelp would be really appreciated! Thank you!

Chimpmunks live solitary once they are grown so their interactions with others tend to be fairly minimal, like during mating season and just vocally talking to others like giving warnings.

I had a siberian chipmunk that lived to be 6 and he was by himself. I gave him attention, though. Yours should be fine.
