Lucky lucky people!

Sorry to hear about your dad Elina ;(

Does anyone know of any breeders with a website/email address? Although they aren't allowed in the US I would love to learn more information!

Do you have FB? If so http://www.facebook.com/groups/396907873692699/ is a raccoon dog group. Lots of UK breeders and brokers on there.

Sounds like they are likely not breeding anymore. The main page says that two of theirs died and "Woolfie and Timur are doing all right, but this site will close eventually." The last update was 2009.

Oh. I didn't notice that. I just had the page of what they were like as pets saved to my favorites. That's ashame. The site still has some good info on what it's like to own them though and it looks like it stilll hasn't been taken down even though that last post was from 2009.

Elina, did he look at the japanese or finnish? Wouldnt it be possible he would be allergic to one and maybe not the other?

(Perfect example with my old GSD I had a much worse allergy issue compared to my Leonberger, although the fuzzyball puts out way more fur and dander.)
