Stella

Postby BlueBaby1023 » Fri Apr 11, 2014 6:36 pm

So, since today was such a pretty day out here, I took Stella for a long walk in the dog trails by the river. She enjoyed the sun and the water, her first swim since last September.

That last picture is the cutest one I've gotten of her in a while. She's such a good pup (when she's not eating my laundry...)

She would love a friend to play in the water with! :) Actually, my boyfriend and I were debating on getting a second dog once we move to Florida for her to be friends with. We will see how we're doing once we move across the country.

good luck with the move :)

you'll just have to watch out for gaiters down there :)

yup having two dogs means double trouble when trying to control them but at the same time whatever you've taught stella will rub off on the new arrival too which in tern means half the workload for you ;)

have fun and i hope that everything goes well for you cos stella deserves it :)

Well, if we did get another, we wouldn't be getting a puppy. Both of us will be working and I will be taking classes as well, so I don't think that adding a puppy to the mix would be good, especially after having just moved. In addition, we'll be living in an apartment for at least one year, so I don't want to have to replace the carpets after house training.

If we do get one, we will be looking into an adult from a shelter or something that will have been mostly trained already.

Not much of an update, just playing with my dog this evening and I got this jewel of a picture.

She's laying on her back with her paws upwards in this picture. Yes, I have a very silly dog.

Thanks. She's a bit of a derp some days. It's her way of saying "Moooooom, you haven't taken me out in a while because of finals! No fair!"

I also don't know why my other pictures disappeared. They're still on my Google account. Sigh, technology.

Another silly picture. My dog was cuddling with me, ended up mostly upside down on me, and my cat Alex decided to cuddle with her while she was cuddling with me. XD My animals...

Rachel, my thumbnail, would have no part in that. But Alex will cuddle with anything.

Stella recently had a dental, and she did fantastic. Poor girl, but she needed it. Her teeth were not in good shape when I got her, but a good diet and some chews did help to a certain extent. Since we were in a good position financially, I figured it would be best to get the tartar off of her teeth before it caused any damage.

Some pictures of her in recent days.

Nathan fell asleep in the car and Stella decided to join him.

She puts up with Gizmo so well.
