Body Language and Behavior

Postby Peacefulward » Mon May 09, 2016 9:30 pm

I'd like to know more in-depth information about a fox's body language, vocalizations, and behavior.

I've read a few books, but they haven't covered any of this to the degree of what your need to know when raising one. Same with most websites.

If anyone can supply some videos of their foxes playing or exploring and etc, I'd greatly appreciate it!
5 Dogs, 2 cats, 2 leopard geckos, 1 guinea pig, 1 axolotl, and a coatimundi currently in my family. :)

Exotic "wishlist": red fox, arctic fox, gray fox, bat eared fox, fennec fox, mink, muntjac deer, owl (any species).

I've got over 1K videos of pet fennecs. It helps get a good idea on behavior and language but they can differ some from reds and I'm not as versed in reds. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p-Gal6N ... 9EKEgU5KxH

Not my foxes obviously but knowing me it wont take long to get 1k videos of mine once I do have him.

Hi! So I started this thread a little bit ago, but I haven't kept up with it like I should have: http://sybilsden.com/bb/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=13033.

It's no book or anything official. It's just me showing pictures of my foxes and then explaining what their body language means. I should keep it going. Other fox owners may add to it too of course. It doesn't have to be just my thread with my foxes. :icon-wink:
