I strongly advise against mixing larger fox species with smaller but the silver's reaction is kind of funny

I agree.. a good chance the silver would hurt or kill the fennec in time..

Yeah once the silver realizes it's not a threat the fennec would be in danger. The different species have different mannerisms and such so don't speak the same language. Make clashes much more likely and the small one will lose out.

Aw. That's really funny and cute. Interesting to see the huge size difference between the two too. I agree that it would be bad to let them together unsupervised, but I think it was ok in this case because the owner was clearly there the whole time watching them and could've intervened if anything happened. Of course, he/she would've had to have been quick though had something happen, otherwise it would be a dead fennec.
