Dog E Den

Postby DeweysMom » Wed Sep 20, 2017 12:52 pm

So thanks to Linsey, who made me aware these things exist, I parted with some of my moldy money and got my boyz one of these Dog E Dens. Pretty pricey, but hey, what else am I gonna do with my $$ but spend it frivolously on my furrkids. Dewey & Bobby seem to really like it, and are using it ALL THE TIME, either for sleeping or for playing in, so I guess it was money well-spent.

Plus I'll sleep so much better on those icy cold winter nights, knowing they can stay alot warmer in their underground bunker than they can in their nest boxes. And it's a cool retreat from the heat in the summer.

If you're unfamiliar of what this thing is, see this link:

Here are links to vids I have posted on YouTube of my kids enjoying it.

2 Dogs - a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, & an Australian Shepherd; 3 Cats; 2 horses, 1 mule; One very spoiled raccoon and the love of my life, Dewey James, and the recently added but much adored, Bobby Lee, brother raccoon to Dewey

You are forever responsible for what you've tamed, responsible pet ownership starts with you.

I've got to get one for the boys!

Jeez, there's a girl now but I've referred to them as "the boys" for years, it'll be tough to change!

When the kitty cat moved in at my parents' house, the whole gang of animals (two dogs and a cat) was still referred to as "the dogs"
