Yep, he's tame. Not cuddly, mind you, but very social and trainable. He's a 62.5% F1 (jungle cat dad, F2 chausie mom). Like most jungle cats and high percentage F1s he can be formidably ornery when he doesn't feel like cooperating, but he's not aggressive or unpredictable. He has a bombproof temperament, actually. He's 16 months old and weighs 16 lbs.

Clive turned 4 in September! He's mellowed quite a bit over the years. He's decided, for example, that getting his head scratched when he's sleepy isn't so bad.

Looking great! Very sturdy too, I guess for the winter? I want to see pics of "Mr." Remmidemmi! How's he? (Seems so weird to call him a he. Have you gotten used to it yet?)

We have indeed!

Fraternal relations have warmed notably since the little guy's castration in late November! (To make a long story short: two undescended testes.)

Wow, they're both gorgeous. You take really great pictures! Mind if I ask what kind of camera you use?

Ah, that explains the confusion. But woah, he's huge! Is he bigger than Clive? Also, looks like Clive might be submitting to him in that pic, has Remmi taken over the household kingship?

Also, is he still as cuddly and sweet as he used to be?

Thanks! I use Nikon bodies and lenses. This one was taken with a D700 and 85mm lens, I think.

Remmi took over the house the day he arrived! He's sweet but has lost his kittenish tolerance of being held. We can touch and pet him "on demand" but anything that smacks of confinement is deemed unacceptable.

The woodpile does double duty as feline message board. I suspect we end up burning quite a bit of "seasoned" wood :-)
