Here's his (sleepy) brother. At 11 months he's not quite full grown but getting there. He's quit barking since getting castrated in late November but has otherwise remained quite vocal, adding a constant stream of grunting, gurgling commentary to the household. Clive responds in kind and so their friendly wrestling matches are still very loud, even without anyone barking. (Clive still barks in the spring; we'll see if the change in seasons will rekindle the urge in Remmi.)

He's good with the litter box (though he prefers to poop in the yard), with only minimal spraying since forfeiting his balls. He loves toys: the noisier the better, aluminum cans being a clear favorite. High-energy for sure, but as these guys don't like to climb or going airborne that much, pretty easy to live with. He's gotten less klutzy - graceful movement doesn't come naturally to these guys because they're so bulky for their size: think having to squeeze 25 lbs into the frame of a red fox. Or imagine a Maine Coon, but with a skeleton like concrete. He still enjoys being petted (for a high-content chausie) but, as expected, pretty much hates being picked up.

Chunky-monkey! With his little brother monopolizing all playtime, Clive has necessarily adopted a more sedentary lifestyle. Or maybe he's just gotten more efficient at cleaning up the other cats' bowls.

Thanks, guys! It's nice to hear about Benji and Mary's Dirty Dozen - I figured you must be up to a dozen by now! (Naturally, Clive gets bored when you discuss other cats.)
