Tribble

Postby Jen Jen » Fri Jun 07, 2013 6:02 pm

Well, it's offical now. I'm the new proud new mom of Tribble the gray fox.

She's the little sister of Fizzgig, and is a little more bold but still completely standoffish.

OMG I just don't know what to do with myself!

I'll get some pictures up once she settles in and is more comfortable.

Thanks everyone! She's hiding in her carrier buried under the towel she came with.

She's five weeks old.

Sorry, i should have mentioned it in the first post. This is such a small community, i forget that not everyone knows what happened with Fizzgig.

Thanks again everyone!!! All you guys are so awesome. She has sequestered herself in her carrier and doesn't look to be interested in coming out. She made her debut to eat, then disappeared.

I've been here for a few months now, and I think I recall having skimmed a thread where you were talking about it. My mind has to slog through a lot of stuff and doesn't always pull the right thing up.

Just be careful not to let any Klingon's around your kit, I hear they hate tribbles.

I saw the thread and was like "OMG OMG OMG SHE FINALLY GOT THE KIT!" It may be 2 in the morning, but this is the most awesome thing I could have come home to. I'm so happy for you and the little one and my thoughts are with you as you start this again.

You guys are just the best, I had no idea I had so many people rooting for me. It's really nice.

She's...definitely different. Fizzgig was a little scardy pants of everything, so after the first day I really didn;t get to hear very much from her in regards to growling, as she was hiding all the time. Once she was done hiding and grumbling, she was no longer afraid of me either, so that was that.

Tribble is much more bold, so she's still scared but also determined to investigate so...I'm getting growled at a lot. This morning she was determined to dig under my door and it took about five minutes to leave my room. She was nearly spitting in defensive rage. The entire thing had me so distracted I went to work with my undies inside out and backwards.

Getting home, though, she discovered the tunnel that my bed skirt and platform bed make...and we've been playing through that. She even licked my hand. I'm trying to present the least threatening target I can be.

I was able to bribe her with food.
