Coyote Playing

Postby BlueBaby1023 » Fri Mar 06, 2015 3:37 pm

One of my friends shared this on Facebook, and I thought that everyone would like to see this. A wild coyote decided to kidnap a bright blue dog toy for a playdate!

Aw, I like that. It really shows people how similar these animals are to our domestic pets--at least emotionally, not husbandry-wise. Those are some beautiful pictures of a coyote in full winter pelage, playing with a dog toy. I can imagine perfectly how it's throwing the toy around--just like how Ifrit plays with her rats.

Coyotes are beautiful creatures. Most people try to make them out as mangy and ugly, but really, they're a gorgeous animal.

They really are. I've always enjoyed listening to them when I hear them, and even though we have animals that are vulnerable to them, I still don't hate them. Sure, I may be angry if we lose one to a coyote, but to be honest that would be our fault for overseeing something that allowed our animals to be killed. That's why we have a llama.

I just noticed, I posted this in the hybrid canine area on accident when I meant to post it on the exotic canine area. Whoops! I don't know if you want to move it, but feel free because that wasn't intentional. :red-face:
