International fauna

Postby jerboaguy » Sat Dec 23, 2006 1:09 am

Hi, I've been trying to find importers or dealers since my luck finding private people has been slim when trying to find some of the animals I'm looking for. International fauna, I just seen on exotichobbyist.com they had armadillos and a few other animals in the classifieds listed. I was just wondering if anyone has ever heard of them? I think the ad said they were out of FL.

Did you end up ordering, or buying from international fauna?

I've heard from several people now that they paid for animals from him and never got them.

so you think they're scammers? That'd be really sad because they have spotted hyenas and I would love to eventually get one of those

He sent an email to someone saying he had tamanduas so I tried emailing asking if he had any and saying I'd have a friend come check them out. He didn't reply. Maybe I should have held back on mentioning seeing them in person and seen how that went first.

Yes I know some got animals but he has a bad rep right now in the exotic mammal area. I also asked my Tamandua guy and he said the same thing, lots of people have been scammed by him.

Only way I'd try getting something from him is see it, pick it up and pay in person. Otherwise there's a chance you could pay and get nothing.
